Anamorphosis Drawing

1. Describe the process you went through to change your object into the correct perspective to create the drawing. This is when you were in the lab.
In order to create the picture in the right perspective I had to go into photoshop and strech it long ways, and stretch the top of the picture too. This will transform it to give it a perspective look.

2. How did distorting and stretching the object allow for you to create a drawing that would look different to the viewer?
By streching and distoring it, it becomes a perspective piece of work. The values and the shadows help to make it look different from different angles. It all just depends on which way you look at it.

3. What were the most important concepts in the project to make it successful?
One of the most important concepts was to first make sure you had a grid drawn, and that it was not crooked or anything. Another important concept was to make sure that you used the colored pencils to shade the drawing correctly.

Game Drawing in Perspective

Personally, I did not like this project. I am not a big fan of drawing or perspective drawing in this case. I feel my piece turned out prety good, but it was definitely not as good as some other people's amazing drawings. It was difficult for me to draw the circles from a perspective point of view, and it was also difficult to draw the game pieces. I did like getting the chance to use colored pencils, and then overlap the colored pencils with watercolor, and blend them together. It helped to show the highlights, values, and shadows. If I were to do this project over again I would allow people to draw more than just game boards, get creative and draw scenes from outdoors and such. From completing this piece it helped me to better understand perspective and using a vanishing point in my drawing.
